
Out at sea in front of Ixtapa’s hotel zone you can find the Islas Blancas. It takes about 25 minutes to get to the dive site where you will find depths of 20 feet to 70 feet. It’s also an excellent place for those who wish to practice snorkelling, take part in our Discover Diving course or just relax and dive. The distance from the mainland coast means that the area is teeming with flora and fauna.

Traveling from Zihuatanejo, just around the lighthouse, you will find a small cove. Caleta del Chon is a calm water area, ideal for photography and fish spotting. It is located 1.5 kms outside of Zihuatanejo port and is one of the closer locations from the pier. It's an ideal place to find sea horses.

Leaving from Zihuatanejo pier and traveling northeast for about 20 minutes brings you to El Sacramento, a chain of rock formations, the most distinct of which stands as a pyramid. The seabed is made up of large rocks, tunnels and little caves that intertwine. Schools of angelfish follow you around like butterflies. This is an excellent place for divers to develop more experience and is ideal for underwater photography.

Huge granite rocks standing above the water, their whiteness gives them the name, "los Frailes Blancos". They form a perfect balance with marine life and large numbers of birds such as pelicans and gulls that live there. Morros del Potosi offers a multitude of dives, full of fascinating surprises like caves, cliffs, walls, tunnels and coral formations. This site is very safe and far enough away from the port to maintain its beauty. This site offers a variety of depths ranging from 30 feet to 130 feet -perfect for all kinds of divers. The minimum number of divers required for this trip is 5.

A circular route around the rock can be undertaken at various depths that will allow you to experience a huge variety of sea life. Large rock formations, the abundance of algae and different species of fish swimming in schools make it a special dive site. The Solitary Rock is found at only 2.5 miles away from Zihuatanejo Pier and its walls go down to 132 feet. This site is ideal for deep dives, multi-level dives and specialty afternoon dives.
